VIDA aims to challenge practices of subordination in the reproduction of gender relations within the critical management academy – both institutionally and intellectually. One of the ways in which VIDA practically aims to achieve this is through the creation of collective spaces for reflection and knowledge formation and exchange. This blog site is one such space, along with opportunities to come together in person at conferences and events, and other virtual spaces on Facebook and Twitter. The blog aims to offer an open and frank attempt by critical scholars who identify as women, non-binary or gender non-conforming to share their experiences and their own understandings anonymously with the audience who are invited to engage in a collective reflection on the issues at hand in such testimonies. Such reflection allows us to take responsibility for challenging and changing the ways in which women scholars are silenced and marginalised.
